Master's thesis: Multimodal AI System for Automobile Insurance Fraud Detection
- Designed and built an end-to-end fraud detection pipeline for automobile insurance claims, combining object detection, OCR, and vision-language models.
- Applied YOLOv8/v11 for vehicle damage and document detection, and PaddleOCR/EasyOCR for text extraction from claim documents.
- Developed video continuity checks using SIFT, ORB, RANSAC, and LoFTR to identify potential manipulation and reused footage.
- Developed vision-language consistency checks using CLIP/SigLIP to compare claim descriptions against submitted images.
- Built an LLM-based extraction module to structure information from French-language expert reports.
- Developed an Evidence Fusion Engine to combine multiple fraud indicators into a unified risk severity score, and presented the system to an academic jury.
